The interview is centered around the disparities that people of color face, when it comes to being diagnosed with autism. Studies show that black children are diagnosed 3 years later then their Caucasian peers. Hollywood is also known for its lack luster treatment of people with disabilities as they tend to hire non-autistic or disabled actors to play the role of someone that has a disability; rather than hire more than capable actors that actually have a disability.
